The Problem

Current 3D endoscope systems rely on dual optical channels, making them costly, complex, and often incompatible with existing surgical tower infrastructure. Meanwhile, traditional 2D endoscopes offer limited image enhancement capabilities, and outdated halogen light sources lack the ability to modulate or adapt to modern imaging demands. Past Positions Include; President of AOtec, VP of Engineering at ECA & MacBeth Instruments. John is an Electrical Engineering Graduate of Northeastern University.

    He is founder and owner of CCR Engineeringwho has worked with MUSC, Duke University, Mitsubishi, and Lucent Technologies to develop high techprototypes from the ground up. The Projects were related to transplant systems, neurostimulationelectrodes, and a peristaltic pump for which he holds a patent.
